Big Game Hunting
Through our outfitter ASKARI ADVENTURES we can arrange the hunting of dangerous game such as Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Hippo, Elephant and, of course, the unpredictable and tough Cape Buffalo.
We are proud to say that Askari Adventures' P.H. PAUL FERREIRA is one of only a handful of people EVER to successfully hunt and take the BIG FIVE in FIVE DAYS with Five bullets !!. Paul and his team have more than 20 years experience hunting and successfully harvesting the BIG FIVE in Zambia, Zimbabwe and throughout South Africa.
All Paul’s hunts are fair chase and very exciting, "Askari" means "the Protector" and Paul takes all necessary precautions to assure your safety on a very exciting and memorable safari.
Paul’s philosophy can be summed up in the following quote:
"I have hunted professionally for over 20 years, in four countries. I was also responsible for building the largest private game reserve in South Africa, in less than four years. For me, ethical hunting and conservation are one and the same. I believe that conservation owes so much to the hunters who have been responsible for millions of acres of privatised land, set aside for our flora and fauna".
"We will continue on our path to, ethically and very selectively, remove our none productive animals to maintain a good balance in our eco system and uniformly utilise these populations. Special thanks to the contributing “hunters” who have made this possible”. “Happy hunting".
