The Conservation Levy Explained.
The Wildlife conservation fund was established in 1999 by PHASA. The Professional Hunters Association of South Africa. The purpose of this fund is to provide a financial resource to be utilised by the Professional hunting industry to promote the use of South Africa’s wildlife resources through hunting.

Objectives of the Fund

1. To secure the future of professional hunting.

2. Fund projects and support key issues vitally important to the professional hunting industry.

3. Fund accredited research projects.

4. Assist with the funding of provincial nature conservation representatives in their task of regulating the professional hunting industry.
