WHAT CAN BE HUNTED?
For plains game hunting we have access to over 100,000 hectares locally and extensive concessions in the Kalahari and Mozambique.
We can arrange the hunting of dangerous game such as Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Hippo, Elephant and, of course, the unpredictable and tough Cape Buffalo.
WITH WHAT CAN BE HUNTED?
The hunting rifle is the primary hunting medium. You can either track in the veld or track on the back of the cruiser. Alternatively, blinds can be used.
We welcome bow hunters to Shakawa. We have a good number of water holes set up exclusively for the bow-hunting enthusiast, with purpose built blinds.
We are confident that we will be able to tailor your Plains Game Safari to suit your precise individual requirements at a very reasonable cost with no hidden fees or charges. Nearly 65% of all the hunting in South Africa is done in our area and with good reason. The area is internationally known for consistently producing, each season, high numbers of quality record book-sized trophies.
What species can I expect to hunt?
